VacationSavings policies
This policy explains how VacationSavings handles information in connection with our membership websites, signup and account tools, member access, support and associate program. A third-party supplier or booking platform may handle information under its own privacy policy when you use its services.
We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, address, login information, and support communications. We maintain membership status, trial and billing dates, consent records, referral attribution, and transaction history. Payment providers collect payment information to process authorized charges; our systems may receive payment tokens, limited card details, and payment status. Associates may provide profile photos, bios, social links, and payout information. Travel suppliers may collect traveler names, dates, preferences, and identification information necessary for a purchase; information shared with VacationSavings depends on the integration.
Our websites and service providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral links, and interaction records through cookies or similar technologies. Essential technologies support login, account security, checkout, and referral tracking. See the cookie notice and available privacy controls for information about optional technologies.
We use information to create and maintain accounts, deliver member access, process authorized payments, provide support, facilitate bookings and supplier fulfillment, track referrals and associate commissions, communicate service information, improve operation, and prevent fraud or misuse. We retain relevant membership history to determine returning-member eligibility and apply the $495 re-enrollment requirement. Promotional communications are subject to applicable preferences and consent requirements.
We disclose information as needed to payment processors, hosting and account providers, communications providers, travel fulfillment partners, and suppliers involved in the requested service. These recipients receive information relevant to their functions. Associates receive referral and commission reporting with limited or masked member information under the approved reporting design, rather than unrestricted access to customer payment or booking records. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect lawful rights and security, at your direction, or as part of a business transfer with applicable protections and notice. Supplier use of information is also governed by its own policy.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link provided; account, payment and service messages may still be sent. You can manage cookies through browser settings and any site privacy controls provided, although blocking essential cookies can affect service. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising.
Contact support@VacationSavings.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, or to ask about available portability, opt-out, or appeal rights. Available rights depend on the law applicable to your request. We may verify identity before responding and will not require unnecessary sensitive information. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted. Some records may be retained for billing, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and legitimate enrollment-history purposes, subject to applicable law. A deletion request is not itself a membership cancellation; use the member back office to cancel renewal charges, or contact support if you cannot access it.
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy and applicable legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution needs, rather than indefinitely by default. Retention periods depend on record type and purpose. We use administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information handled and restrict access according to business need. No system can guarantee complete security. Do not send passwords or full payment details by ordinary email.
External supplier websites and booking services may have separate privacy practices. Review their policies before entering information. Information may be handled in locations where our confirmed providers operate, subject to applicable requirements.
Membership signup is intended for adults able to enter a contract, and our membership website is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information directly to us without appropriate authorization, contact support. An adult may provide traveler information about accompanying children when necessary for a booking and subject to supplier requirements. We may update this policy and will post the effective date and provide any additional notice required for material changes.
